The RegioClusterAgency
As an instrument of regional innovation policy, RCA BW aims to increase the performance of cluster management, economic development agencies and innovation intermediaries in Baden-Württemberg and to establish a sustainable regional architecture for a future-proof innovation system capable of overcoming the challenges of transformation and structural change.
Regional transformation processes present many stakeholders with complex challenges. To successfully navigate these challenges, targeted support, in-depth knowledge and practical tools are required. This is precisely where the RegioClusterAgency for Innovation and Transformation in Baden-Württemberg (RCA BW) comes in. With our expertise and a wide range of services, we support cluster initiatives, economic development agencies, lead organisations and other regional innovation intermediaries in strategically managing economic and technological change.
Under the motto ‘analyse, coordinate, implement’, we actively accompany transformation processes: we offer coaching, moderated strategy dialogues and in-depth monitoring based on data-driven analyses. The aim is to make regional innovation projects fit for the future and to shape change in a sustainable manner.

The RCA BW is operated by VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH (VDI/VDE-IT) under the direction of Dr Gerd Meier zu Köcker. The RegioCluster Agency for Innovation and Transformation in Baden-Württemberg is financed by funds from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and state funds.
